Thirteen Years Ago.. Poem by Zoe Bee

Every year I write you a poem,
Of all the things I'd like to say,
The feelings I bottle up inside,
come out every year on this day.
How many ways can I say I miss you?
and love you with all my heart
There are so many things I wish to share
after thirteen years of being apart.


My heart still aches with sadness,
Secret tears still flow,
I try to hide it as best I can,
until this day..
My heart feels exposed.

But you'll never be forgotten,
This I pledge to you
A hollowed place within my heart
is where your always stay,
your memories kept and cherished
each and every day.
