Pain Poem by Leon Jaime Villegas

Pain

Pain discover the layers
of our false selves
one from successive endeavors
the core of understanding rips
hearts thrown asunder leaves
onto the roads of life sans a map stumble
for guidance
goals as precious as a guide server and humble
a soul without a know 'ave found
a rudder
pity vagabond through lives swirl
the house of our sensibilities assault
unwelcomed as intruder camps
unworthy messes our strings pull
of ceaseless drama, the deities
confound end up nauseated, as is
along march as unwanted bride
sometimes stinks, may in the end
us round make our own world
antagonist figures a chiseler
who's push sculpts inside most sublime
after no hope and remedy forms of desire show
as relentless a dreamer appears beat up
against our pains swim must
if we long evolve our days
strive forward it makes us
together the pieces weary try mend
of our fractured selves
our godly nature start integrate
in accordance must act from our natural selves
ingenous in a time lost, we behaved outside
of a master plan made divine
as diverse as pain the experiences
in a universe we disdain
not a norm but is all game
by our dreams handicap a future numb
no matter what impends a fog of ideas
in the sorrow of the soul nestled
begets endless pain.
