Oh please God take this heart of mine
For You alone are my King, with You alone I shine
Take my heart, the pain, the heaviness, the ache
I trusted someone with it and that was my mistake

An earthly love brings lust and madness
It always ends in pain
No matter what I do the result is always sadness
I shall not do it again

Hear me Lord and hear me well
From You I will never stray
Deliver me from this hell
Your love sustains my way
