Painless Euthanasia Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Painless Euthanasia

Painless Euthanasia

Death, I commend my wounds,

Begged tolerance,
a more humane endings,

A non invasive song,
as a mothers lullaby,
guidance,
diplomacy coaxed a child to sleep,

It takes so much than a syringe,
for a lethal sleep potions to take effect,

the language of love
alters the freedom of pain inflicted,

the hypnotists, counting steps, collapsing
walls begins to fade,

Dissolve defenses,
the mechanism of death
the merciful euthanasia
to recites the endings of life

Passports,
a painless painkiller,

Thecristal cysts before human form
Life in the hands of a lover,
To hand over predilections
the human journey,

To the halls of suicide,
I die in your hands,
The last breath of surrender,

Masters,
in the final encapsulation of life,

Kind Christ
who bares the absorptions,
of the wound,
The atrocities of inflictedpain.
