Pain's Destiny

The time between your pain
and your scar
Is the time between your lesson
and your lesson learned
Within each scar bourne
is a void of your soul
measured only by the size
of your error's hole
Hence, no more pain
Only the dull jagged memory
of the innocence that once resided there
and the prayers for redemption
