Painters Poem by james watkin

Painters

Dampening with portrayals, ere they dry
Their canvasses indemnify
What peels, in what is youthful glazed.
And washed out warming the eye.

First dipping their fervours, as they do
Into elixirs, dyes of true
Vitalness, as can lasting vogue
Give to a time-limited hue.
