Panes Of Glass

panes of glass-
shattering fast
splitting my ears,
spilling like tears
a burst of lightning-
everything breaks
shuddering, frightening-
re-living mistakes
creeping up slowly,
my whole body aches
feeling so lonely,
how slowly time takes
