Paper Boats Poem by Lauren Coles

Paper Boats

Paper doesn't hold up well in water,
Death isn't something to play around with,
You might know someone who's ready to call it quits,
Paper can be your friend in the darkest times,
It is tired after it's long journey,
It might be hard to read after being soaked by water but it is your choice,
The paper is trying to tell you something before you exit the world and can return.
