Paranoid? Poem by Ray Hansell

Paranoid?

Living each day
The best I can
Going alone
Following life's plan

Working each day now
Trying to survive
Sometimes barely making it
But somehow still alive

They slowly drain our paychecks
With new tax increases
They are taking away our lives
By breaking us in pieces

Before we all know it
We'll have nothing at all
That's when this country
From within will fall

It won't be another nation
That will take our liberty away
It will be our own government
Doing it slowly day by day

Things are slowing changing
But not for the best
We had better be worried
If things are left unaddressed
