Pardon Me Poem by Camagu Somana

Pardon Me

Rating: 4.5

For my little and loving heart
Follows trends,
Trends you have set yourself - I didn't want us apart.

Pardon me black brother for
Making your life better,
But you always complain - What for?

I may have acted clueless
On your infidelities
Hoping that you will change, but you stayed careless.

Pardon me for fighting for our marriage
Although, your parents
Didn't want me, I even got a miscarriage.

I tried my best to the best wife ever
But, to you that was not enough.
You continued with your nonsense, thinking you are clever.

Pardon me now for being strong
For our kids as they were asking about you
And every night I had to lie - For how long?

I may have been quite trying to be strong all these days
But, now I'm enough I decided that
We must part ways, although I will love you always.

Pardon me for, I now start
A new chapter of self-discovery without you
And don't try to pursue me - I'm still fragile at heart.

As we get tossed in the waves of life, stay strong my dear.. ...your life and tears and smiles are precious! God be with you and heal you...
