On His Wife Departure Poem by Camagu Somana

On His Wife Departure

Rating: 5.0

Golden winds
Swiftly whirling while his hands
Are red
Crying and trying
To save her precious life.
‘Cause in her, he did
See a God fearing wife.
But, this is life, these things happen.

In Heaven
Her bed so well prepared
Made in white linen.
Her smile when seeing
A golden temple.
Meanwhile,
On earth her husband
Still fiddles and drizzles tears day and night.

In Heaven
Angels sing hymns
In all white with golden crowns.
While Heaven is welcoming her
For eternal life.
Indeed her husband, in her did lose a wife.
The pain and sadness caused by her departure
Still is unbearable for mankind.

Such a sad poem for the husband. What a victory for the child if God's passage! Life happens and we can't help it. But we must prepare for our eternity. Thanks for a heartwarming poem.

So sad indeed Haidee. We need not to cry 'cause we are going to our last home...
