Pardoning Dolly Parton Poem by michael Smajda

Pardoning Dolly Parton

If I could pardon Dolly Parton,
What would I pardon Dolly Parton for?
Well, it would be she was found guilty
Of not writing, about me, a melodic score.

How many times have I bought her records?
And listened to her hit songs on the radio?
All the while ignoring my existence.
My pardoning Dolly Parton? I, yet, don't know.
