The night widens like a river
Like a sea with a moon
I think of you when you loved me
Sometimes I think you still do
I know you are in me
Deep in my heart
Beyond melancholy
Beyond memories of pleasure
You have remained

Night pours its waters into my soul
Priorities in our feelings show through
Courage is needed
We must admit what lasts
What needs to be resolved
Sometimes we visit graves
Sometimes we can only pray
Tonight you've escaped the neat package
Tonight a part of me is you
