Pass On By
when you see me
pass me by
but pass quietly,
slowly and carefully
the road you walk
is littered with my hopes
so take care where you step
and step not on my hopes and dreams
simply pass me by
pass not by my eyes
but by my heart
for my eyes see you not
cast not your hopes
upon the road with the rest
but hold them close
and pass on by
