Passing By Mother's Love Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Passing By Mother's Love

Her shame barely concealed
She lay on the pavement
Amidst arrogant feet.
Soiled, uncared, shabby,
With her loincloth
The mother covered the baby!
A moment heavenly
And in passing
Etched in me
Mother’s love!
