Passing Through Silent Gate Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Passing Through Silent Gate

Rain drops are falling,
and through them I am walking,
past the tears of heaven,
the silent gate,
wings washed with holey water,
wet from the rain,
oil silk, angles crying again,
sunrise tomorrow will not forget today,
if sorrows rains come once more,
it will only be another day.
