Passion Poem by Lors Dilouley

Passion

Oh to hear what you want, to know how your soul feels -
upon someone else's brow to rest my own -
my hopes and dreams, my frustrations, my longings and passions,
my stumblings, my insecurities, my heart...

more than to be loved, i wish to be understood.

when i speak, for my words not to be mistook.
for someone to know why i smile
and to comprehend the depth of my joy through solitude...
to seek out my motive for crying,
and to lay a hand out to let me rest.
to look into my eyes and see how my heart beats.

to know me in companionship -
to try to see through my perspective -
the world, and himself even.

nothing measures value, and nothing proves love than to understand and to be understood.
