Past Poem by Hana Gerzanic-Hons

Past

Rating: 5.0

Fossils of moments
Vibrating with life's lust -
Words once spoken
In books collecting dust -
Immobile photographs
Of what with blood was hot -
Records of days that were
So real - and are not -
Smiles, joys and tears
Forever lost in time -
Knowledge and dreams
That wanted to be mine
All vanished - gone -
Nothing would ever last --
Dead bunch of souvenirs
Is what's left of my past.....
