The Clock Poem by Hana Gerzanic-Hons

The Clock

I watch the clock -
I think of time -
It steals away
What's most sublime -
My hours, my days,
A part of me -
It slices me off
Continuously --

I watch the clock -
Time turning around
Bending my years
Towards the ground --
And with a gentle
Tick, tick, tock
My life keeps melting
In the breath of the clock---
