Past Memory Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

How long person can live with past memory
To feel sad whole day and night with so much sorry
Adding tension, causing concern and worry
This is something one must avoid to carry

I come across many people with strong attachment
They cry whole day and pass pessimistic statements
It is nothing but creation of confused mind
No one can really go forward for solution to find

Smile is such thing and can be had for no cost
It is missing in most of the cases with real face lost
They find end of world with slight setback
Relation is soared with development of cracks

The face bears great sense of satisfaction
The smile is very good parameter for such action
It is reflected as very good sign
One must accept the fate and silently resign

The is loosing its flavor when detached from plant
No one can restore its charm the way it is wanted
Once broken from its link with no more hope
Everything goes wrong and it flops

The face remains swollen and complete barren
This does not take place or happen all of sudden
It has its roots from the emancipation of mistrust
Then there is left little scope for any kind of trust

Only true friends may have little time to listen to your woes
The sad tale may go unheeded or unheard even if it flows
It looses its relevance if you are not sure of what is in mind?
No one may give credence to your tale even if you are so kind

You must make choice for past and present
You can’t remain attached to past and remain physically absent
That state is not acceptable in its any form
You need complete change with attitudinal reform
