Patience Poem by Kiersten Reilly

Patience

You laugh aloud,
To flaunt that you,
Don't need me,
I hate you.

Once I laughed,
and cried with you,
Memories now crushed,
I hate you.

You're innocent stare,
Like nothing was done,
My heart weeps,
You have won.

I can't hate,
The one I gave,
All my love,
I tried to save.

Sadness comes,
Sadness goes,
I try to forget,
But t'was you who chose.

To cause me,
This pain within,
The knife is stabbing,
you're hurtful sin.

I try to move on,
I try to forget,
But that can't happen,
Until you regret.
