Patriarchy Poem by Binu Mathew

Patriarchy

Rating: 5.0

When freedom fettered,
Creativity crushed,
Self-image shattered,
And voice denied,
The passivity that prevails,
Is patriarchy!
In a fair system, ideal or real,
Justice isn't gender-specific!

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Very true, dear poet. Chauvinism's shadow still stills the progress of humanity. Misogyny is the order of the day, with mentally disabled Trumps accusing Harris of trading sexual favours for her Political career. What about his sexual behaviour?
