Paul's Letters Poem by Randy McClave

If Paul the Apostle were here living now
I wonder what he would think about and allow,
Knowing of the Lord Jesus's preachings
And also knowing of the Lord's love and his teachings.
If Paul looked and saw how any church was doing
And who that they were not allowing, but refusing,
When the churches are defending evil and hate
What in Paul's eyes and soul would be their fate.
Jesus ate and he spoke to those of sin
He spoke and dined with them again and again,
And the pharisees called the Lord a sinner
Because, with the outcasts he was having dinner.

If Paul the Apostle was here living now today
To be honest I don't know what he would say,
When he see the poor and the needy not being helped or fed
But, to the graves they are pushed to instead.
If Paul sees the lost sheep treated and hated for their beliefs
And the church giving them more pain and more griefs,
Not talking with them joyfully or teaching them a hymn
But, instead mocking and cursing each and everyone one of them.
When a church ignores the words and the teachings of Christ
Forgetting that for all, and not for a few he was sacrificed,
When Paul sees the churches becoming as sinful debtors
A-lot of churches would be getting Paul's letters.
