Pay To Play Poem by Lamar Cole

Pay To Play

It just wasn't his day.
At the bar, she told him that he had to pay to play.
His body went limp.
When he was approached by her pimp.
He felt like it was a death wish.
He ran out of the bar scared because he didn't want any part of this.
