Peace
I could lay here forever.
If only I could stop thinking.
I could lay here forever and rest.
My thoughts won't slow.
I can't rest until I know.
If I knew why.
Why my thoughts were racing.
Why i'm ready, anticipating.
I need peace, a smile that is'nt fake.
A moment without a background of desperation.
If I could stop, could lay here forever.
