Peace In Rest Poem by Randy McClave

Peace In Rest

In your hands oh Lord let us pray
As we humbly entrust our loved one this very day,
In life you embraced them with your love and care
We thank you as we now clasp our hands in prayer.
Delivering them from evil was their quest
As we bid them now peace and eternal rest,
Where there is no weeping or pain or sorrow
Where tissues, you need not to ever borrow.
Please accept them where peace and joy has begun
Where they'll abide with the Holy Spirit and the Son,
With you they are now and forever and ever
Where without your love there is no never.
Though I can't see with your loving and caring eyes
I do know that today they are truly with you in paradise,
Where there is no hurt or suffering and no sin
In prayer I thank you God …. Amen.
