Peace On Downy Feathers Descends Poem by james watkin

Peace On Downy Feathers Descends

Peace on downy feathers descends
The angel of peace, ample-spanned
In fainting's way, o'er sounding hell's
Encounters abrasively fanned.

Much by moonlight is related
Of this overt tender presence.
More, preyed on of swart guilts, who vouch
For a tangible experience.
