Peace, Prosperity And Progress Are In Our Hands! Poem by Ramesh T A

Freezing cold and forest fire, Earthquake and flood waters make
Our Earth almost a large scale hell reminding all what to do next;
Expansion of urban areas, smoke causing pollution of all kinds
And many more uncleanly set backs by all need to be set right

Change hunger and poverty of poor to normal by providing all
Food, clothing, shelter, education, training and jobs for progress;
For all these to be done, wars need to be stopped once and for all;
Only in peaceful atmosphere works will go on for prosperity!

Just preaching and promises by all are not enough to make
Change of social status to make all ride in one world paradise;
On war footing all necessary things should be done to make
The world from hell to heaven for all to live in harmony with Nature!

When will that day dawn is not in anyone's hands but in all our hands only;
Let us work for peace, prosperity and progress from the New Year on!
