Peacock Is Not Bound For The Pot Poem by Terence George Craddock

Peacock Is Not Bound For The Pot

Rating: 5.0

the peacock was not coy with me an interesting sight to see
but then I saw beneath feathered lies the sadness in his eyes;
the peacock bowed his head sadly said no one no admirers
has ever complemented me on my legs or my voice choice;

no one ever in ardent rapture adored spellbound my voice
but I gathered my pride stood proud tall to strut my stuff;
consummate actor must best preform when going gets ruff
with elegant supreme pride I spread my tail like a paradise;

fan even hunter savage man said this divine bird belongs
in the holy land thus the lesson is made the lesson is told;
the moral is a naked stripped Peacock is nothing to behold

have no fear Peacock is not bound for the pot like a silly goose;
whenever magnificent Peacock spreads his designer glorious
psychedelic fan tail he rules the roost is not served as day's roast;

a lesson in fabulous feathers must ever rule fashion house roost
all desirable woman fashion blunders may sentence one to hell;
expensive fashion secrets we must not ever sell we must never tell

sexy incredible attire may save a fair maid from the frying pan
Peacock knows legs voice are forgotten by enticing display fan;
admirers are swiftly captivated by shifting patterns in tail feathers
