Pearly Mae with hair shiny and black
takes your breath away.
One always thinks of sunshine
when they see Pearly Mae.

She smiles, she laughs with twinkling eyes
and makes your troubles go.
She's never at a loss for words
and her voice is soft and low.

Pearly Mae, she'll calm you down.
She makes you feel at peace.
She's learned the secret to happiness
and that is to release

her charm, her wit and all she is
to each and everyone.
She never troubles you with her woes.
You'd think that she had none.

But she does you know, or do you?
You'd never be able to guess.
For all of that she keeps to herself.
Pearly Mae is a great actress.
