Pebble Poem by Emma Hasel

Pebble

I am a pebble on the sea shore
I am waiting for something more
I hope I'm what you're looking for
I am a pebble on the sea shore

I am a pebble that you see
I feel your shadow cast over me
I hope you reach down to pick me
I am a pebble that you see

I am the pebble that you choose
I am the pebble that did not lose
I am so happy, you haven't a clue
I am the pebble that you choose

I am the pebble in your hand
I am the pebble doused with sand
I am round, flat and somewhat tan
I am the pebble in your hand

I am the pebble you speak of
I feel like I'm on cloud nine or above
I hope you soon replace like with love
I am the pebble you speak of

I am the pebble you toss up and down
I feel sudden loss each time I am found
I hope you don't dropp me on the ground
I am the pebble you toss up and down

I am a pebble you throw in the wind
I am a pebble skipping away with seem less end
I submerge in water I'm now drowning in
I am a pebble you throw in the wind

I am a pebble on the sea floor
I am a pebble you don't want anymore
I am a pebble with hope left ashore
I am a pebble on the sea floor.

Good stuff Emily, loved the way it flowed and the feelings put into it.
