Pen And Ink To Paint And Pastels Poem by Mervyn Graham

Pen And Ink To Paint And Pastels

From pen and ink to paint and pastels,
The journey unfolds, and creativity swells.
In-between lines and curves, a story begins,
On the canvas blank, where the artist wins.

With strokes deliberate, the tale takes shape,
In black and white or hues agape.
From the depths of mind to the tip of hand,
A world is born, where dreams expand.

Ink spills secrets, whispers of old,
Echoes of history, myths untold.
Each stroke a melody, each line a rhyme,
In the dance of creation, frozen in time.

But beyond the confines of the black and white,
Lies a realm of colors, in a vibrant home.
With brushes dipped in pigments bold,
The artist ventures, a tale retold.

From pen and ink to paint and pastels,
The canvas breathes, the story compels.
In every stroke, a new beginning,
From imagination's well, endlessly spinning.

So let the colors blend, let the scenes unfurl,
From pen and ink to a vivid world.
For in the artist's hand, the past transcends,
And from the canvas, a new era ascends.
