Pencil, Council! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Pencil, Council!

Factual life,
Songs of love;
Pencil, council!
But, if you was your hands well in this life,
You will surely eat with kings and queens.

View, review!
Solitude;
Solicitor,
Deep, deed, deer, deem;
And like you and your descendants.

Come, comely!
Green, yellow and black;
Bray, dray!
Solicitous;
Wear, weary!
But rise uo to consciousness.

Played, displayed!
From now on with your muse;
Cry, decry!
But, try to know who you are and where you came from.
