Pentaland Disciplines- Seventy [12- 14] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Pentaland Disciplines- Seventy [12- 14]

12."The humongous tusker with its long trunk would graze the paddy crops on the hills and sleep in the shade of the green foliage of the dark trunked Mara: maram trees in the grove. The beetles would hum around the flowers in plenty. It will be safe to live in the affinity with the hero of such a country", the heroine said to her friend.

13."Friend! My father directed me to stand guard around the millet field to evade the parrots bent-beaked from plundering the long millet-corns. The hero of the hills came and I hugged him warmly.
So change came about my body. My foster mother dared to call for the dance of the priest of Lord Muruga, and sacrifice a lamb thinking that the changes are caused by the god. Tell the truth to mother to avoid the dance", said the heroine.

14.' Friend! Fulfil my want, please. Do help me to guard my life from worries. Our hero comes in the snakes prowling night. My heart portends that danger may come to him.Tell him not to pay visits in the night and marry me soon", so said the heroine to her maid.
