So many people float in and out of your life
Sometimes you don’t even notice

Other times it hits you
Life takes them away
And you really miss them

What I know is you should enjoy
Each and every one of them
For all those moments you share together
The many gifts, they gave you

To teach,
Inspire,
Make you stronger,
Bring you humility

Even those ones that you are not entirely
Sure why your paths have crossed
Those are the ones you
Should pay close attention to

A lesson is always there
It is up to you to figure it out
