The People's Republic is only a lie
Always another will have the advance
No one is equal, no matter the stories,
We have all tasted sweet dominance.
On earth we are bound by the matters of state
The whispers of change that most surely are wrong
How dare a human barter with fate?
When our lives on Earth are invariably long.
Everything here that we see is possessed
By one or another, or the 'Good of them all.'
But when one takes the time to look to the clouds
One sees the sky, like the loss of a pall.
High up above all the democracy
Lies the peace and perfection that nobody sees.
Lies the sky which every man, no man can own,
So it's yours for the taking, just all yours alone.
