People Some And Others Poem by Joseph Blitch

People Some And Others

Some people are short; others tall;
Some have lots of hair; others bald;
Some are trim and small; others not;
Some like sweet iced tea; others hot;

Some like meat with fat; others lean;
Some don't complain; others a Queen;
Some like the weather hot; others cold;
Some are still quite young; others old;

Some people stay sober; others drunks;
Some like to stay clean; others skunks;
Some are always real quite; others talk;
Some hurry and like to run; others walk;

Some people love the rain; others dry;
Some people always laugh; others cry;
Some people enjoy standing; others sit;
Some like a somber reserve; others wit;

Some like it at Key West; others Nome;
Some like to go visiting; others home;
Some like to be unnoticed; others seen;
Some and others covered; none between!
