When you wake in the morning, to the light of day
And the first thing you see is their smiling face.
When You're overjoyed, and you're filled with pride,
Because you have your lover by your side.
When they make you happy, with whatever they do
And you always hear the words, "I love You"
When that special someone is all you think of
That's when you know you have the perfect love.

When You talk about the dreams you share,
And you're not afraid, to show how much you care.
When you can look into each other's eyes
And you see the love that nobody denies.
When people look and they see the romance
As the play your song, and you share your dance.
When the passion burns hotter than the stars above
That's when you know you have the perfect love.

When you share secrets that nobody knows
And the love between you always seems to grow.
When you grow old and think about the past,
And you realize how long your love will last.
When life has been a long and bumpy ride
And in your partner, you can always confide.
When you hold that person and can't get enough
That's when you know you have the perfect love.
