Perfect Persona Poem by Karen Jane

Perfect Persona

I remember seeing thou - first time
You seemst to me stern
But that was childish fear - an allusion
And soon was't gone (I)

I know not how to amplify -
My feelings for thou
To unfold secrets of grey matter
Whatever I thinkst of you (II)

I was perplexed and wondered -
Wherefore from falleth this ‘MOON'
On our sphere of ball: EARTH -
As I gazed her in silence - an ‘ANGEL': I guess (III)

Tall in stature, fair hue
Clad in a Reed saree - plated nicely
Long hair: untied, immovable - ‘Threads of Silk'
Beautiful she appearth to mee (IV)

Her sweet smyling face
Balm of my hurt mind
A precious gem to addeth
Like a blossoming ‘SUNFLOWER' (V)

Her voice sounds -
Honey dripping from her mouth
A remedy for all my sorrows
And griefs to be cured (VI)

I would like to meet her in leisure
I would like to share my feelings with her
She's a perfect embodiment of - so to say
Sister, Friend, Consort and Mother (VII)
