Perfection Poem by Sabrina Babella

Perfection

Some days I try to be perfect

other days i think it's just not worth it

dressing up and wearing too much makeup

being told you're no prettier than a broken cup

never knowing what that meant

until a note for me was sent

It said 'You are beautiful in every way.

why waste you're heart all in one day?

Why push to fit in

Why hate yourself knowing that it's a sin

why cry when you make a mistake

why push yourself farther than you can take

why suffer from being hated

stop focusing on perfection its overrated!

from your note: until i got a letter from one of the staff at jdc in lincoln nebraska. good.. And we should always remember that the best is what is inside ourselves.. Too many focus themselves on exteriority.. this way, a good deal of them lost the best they have.. *why push yourself farther thank you can take* : a mispelling here.. ;)
