Perfectly Composed Poem by Linda Harnett

Perfectly Composed

I lost some happy memories,
Three dozen in a row,
It should have rewound faster,
Instead, it rewound slow.

I blamed it on the batteries,
Changed old ones for some new,
I thought I fixed the problem,
And opened up to view.

My roll of happy memories,
Was well over exposed,
The memories gone forever,
All perfectly composed.
