Perfidia
Sometimes one knows when eyes
lie with less than harmless charm
or when star-kissed moonbeams
become something less than warm.
T'was in your eyes I met 'Perfidia',
stumbling into the myriad lies embedded
in your cunning charm.
And it drove me to this:
To walk away from your fickleness.
