Persona Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Persona

Rating: 5.0

Persona

In masks or guise we must survive all days of allegiance to our own hearts,

The fellow strangers or the hosts,
The news or the horrors of our neighborhoods,

The charlatans or the cheats,
The returned wallet or minus it's cash,

Your ID's are fake sometimes is the false countenance of a smile but the masks stays on,
like makeup's

It's upmost necessity to kept an identity of low profiles, and that's wise,

To be someone because or this persona your left at home,

Otherwise it's madness and the aftermaths of consequence,

Deny the outcries or perished in this rough neighborhood.

It's plain sympathy to find this peaceful nights without the masks.

Reveal this true person fast asleep
