Personally Internalized Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Personally Internalized

Pain to feel,
Personally internalized.
Has much more,
Of a sustaining significance.
Than inflicting it upon others.
To one day be heard,
Screaming from it.
With no relief to end one's grief.
Far beyond an evil intention,
One meant to have it not realize...
Playing God with people's lives.
Has unending consequences to pay.
On both sides of reality.
Whether conscious of it or not,
No one lives in a foreverness.
To perceive what they do unto others,
Is left to stay that way and allowed.
By 'those' God already knows,
How best to correct their misdeeds.
For all eternity to keep remembered.
