Peter Poem by Daniel Peter Jones

Peter

Rating: 5.0

So much has changed, in this year thats gone,
Apart from verses and words of our favorite songs,
Apart from videos of you laughing in dance,
Apart from speaking your name, and the memories i have
of us staying up late in full thought, chatting with Wine
of us reciting a joke we've said a thousand times,
of us calling each other an inanimate thing,
You know the curly thing on a 'g'? that's you that is!
The answer to the question in all that's changed,
'Am i having a nice time? ' so beautifully phrased
is yes Peter, although your far,
and i think about all those times we've had,
I'm happy and fulfilled but it doesn't quite hide,
The hole in my heart the day i heard that you'd died,
I miss you my friend, you left us to soon,
to ascend to the beauty in that
