Photo Poem by Carmen Cilla Cook

Photo

Look at a photo of you and me,
what is it there that you can see?
An uncle, an aunt, a child, a wife
Always a part of someone’s life
A photo is never what is may seem
But is always a part of some ones dream
A face, a race, a kiss, a laugh
Wearing a bikini, or wrapped in a scarf
Sun or snow, rain or shine
The thought one has are yours not mine
That cheesy grin, sad face within
It only shows us where ones bin
So do not think the answer ‘s there
The story’s different
No matter how long u stare! !
