Pièta Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Pièta

Rating: 5.0

Came like a sunburst on the dew
Many around to love him
Life before, an innocent babe
No need to curb or chide him

This shining boy as he rose and grew
Met dragons who would destroy him
Gone, like a Mayfly passing through
With nobody there beside him
