Picture Of You Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Picture Of You

Rating: 5.0

I wanted to paint a picture of you
There are problems my brush fails to solve
This is my quandary
How do I capture the warmth of your smile?
Twinkling sparkle the way your eyes do
The love, that flows from your every pore
Lilting melodic voice, you speak with
Relaxed posture, the way you sit or walk
Heavenly flagrance of your body
Firmness of your figure
Intelligence you show me each day
Your compassion
Unbridled passion
It leaves me with one thing to do
Picture you with my minds eye
Have it, seared into my memory
At last, I have my picture
It is you
