I have a picture on my wall
of a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean.
The sky is a stormy gray.
In the water with the waves crashing upon it
Is a small little boat endanger of capsizing.
The turmoil in this picture
Is a resemblence of my life.
I am that little boat fighting to keep my head above.
Fighting the crashing waves.
Tonight I will throw this picture out the door.
No more wallowing in self pity.
Wondering why other people have more.
Tomorrow I will get a new picture to hang upon my wall.
One not of the past but of the future.
One bright with hope and joy.
My picture will be full of sunshine
And a garden that smells so sweet
No more pity parties for me.
I'll get my ownself on my feet.
And I will have a new picture on my wall.

I would like to translate this poem
Just lovely. We should all hang pictures of sunshine on our walls. No more pity parties indeed!
