Pin Holes Of Light Poem by Ronald Chapman

Pin Holes Of Light

White bright pin holes of light,
Piercing through a black velvet blanket,
Night skies!

Creatures look up.
Ask, "What can these lights be? "

Are they small windows in to heaven?
Or, are they candles flames?
Gifts given by
The Gods to light our way?

Millions of bright pin holes of light
Can be seen
In the black velvet night sky.

What are they?
